PEACE RIVER REGIONAL DISTRICT, B.C. – The BC Hydro Peace Agricultural Compensation Fund (PACF) board of directors has approved $180,298 in grant funding to support agricultural production and related economic activity in the Peace Region.

PEACE RIVER REGIONAL DISTRICT, B.C. – Two cooperative associations in B.C.’s Peace Region have been approved for $1 million through the BC Hydro Peace Agricultural Compensation Fund’s (PACF) Agricultural Impact and Opportunities Initiative. The Fort St. John Seed Cleaning Cooperative Association and South Peace Grain Cleaning Cooperative Association will receive $746,000 and $254,000, respectively.

PEACE RIVER REGIONAL DISTRICT B.C. – Northern Development Initiative Trust announced today that 19 projects totalling nearly $517,000 have been approved to benefit the agriculture industry through the BC Hydro Peace Agricultural Compensation Fund (PACF). Since the launch of the fund, over $1.2 million has been awarded to 53 projects.

PEACE RIVER REGIONAL DISTRICT B.C. – Northern Development Initiative Trust announced today that $176,483 has been approved to benefit 10 Peace Region agricultural projects through the BC Hydro Peace Agricultural Compensation Fund (PACF).

FORT ST. JOHN B.C. – Northern Development Initiative Trust announced today that $213,672 has been approved to benefit nine Peace Region agricultural projects through the BC Hydro Peace Agricultural Compensation Fund (PACF).

The BC Hydro Peace Agricultural Compensation Fund is a $20 million fund established by BC Hydro to support agricultural production and related economic activity in the Peace Region. This fund is governed by a regional decision-making board, responsible for overseeing the management and disbursement of the fund. They are seeking one member-at-large to serve on the board.
